If there’s one thing I try never to do, it’s to get involved in an argument between two friends who are dating. It’s just not worth it. If you’ve known one person longer than the other, you’re almost certain to have a bias. And if you’ve known them both equally, you’re going to have trouble taking a side. Not to mention most people don’t really want you to intervene, they just want someone to listen and nod, really. That’s why I always try to keep my mouth shut. There’s just too much chance of things going nuclear, so to speak.
