Wednesday What I Fear

Ah -- well, you see, I'm afraid of the dark, but only of a certain sort of dark. . . I'm fine as long as there's a light source. As long as I can see something. The kind of dark that presses in on you, that doesn't let you see anything, that feels like it's s-suffocating you even as it makes the world around you seem so much larger s-so that anything could be l-lurking in it --
Um, yes. That's the s-sort of dark I'm afraid of.
(Also, I thought you would all appreciate this more than a picture of my other greatest fear -- finger injuries.)
