Saturday Peter Pan
“He was a poet; and they are never exactly grown-up." -- J.M. Barrie, Peter Pan In Kensington Gardens
I think I have heard my friends say something like this about me; I even remember joking with Kale once that I was something like Peter Pan. I don't think I'm a poet though; I have a way with words but that youthfulness comes from elsewhere.
This applies to some other people I've met though: Ida is one; there's always something young about her, even with her having kids and all. Emil also counts; that man is never going to be completely his age. Wena is probably the epitome of this line though: at her age, she still wears heart necklaces and polka-dotted rainboots simply because she can.
