Monday - Happy Endings
Let's talk about endings!
1. Do your stories/RP arcs have endings? Or are they like sitcoms, incidents end but the story goes on.
Well...I have written stories with endings but as of right now I'm working on a series of short stories that have endings but will be incorporated into a bigger book.
2. If you write trilogies/quartets/quintets etc. does each book have an ending of it's own?
See above....each story has its own unique "Case closed" type of ending ...but the whole novel put together will be one big story in itself.
3. How far ahead do you know how your book will end?
I may never end it until I die...ok ok...I will have to end it some day...but Alex's and Jack's life's mirror my own...Alex is my age so her timeline is pretty much the same as mine....so as I age, she ages,....and she might not retire until her 60's and man that's at least 27 years away so...
4. Do you write happy endings? Or less so.
I'm a hopeless romantic so all of my endings are in their own way...happy...but I'm also a realistically bitter emotion torn woman at times so of course I have to throw in a bit of drama to keep things going. No you don't always get the girl, and yes, some times the bad guy fights back...etc etc etc...
5. Do you ever have trouble with endings? Which do you think is harder - Endings, or beginnings?
I have trouble with endings cuz in my brain the story never ends..and I have no clue how to write it all out and finish something..I got tons of beginnings but no endings..i dunno, its a bit muddled.
