Munday - Terrible to your characters

Tell us some of the worst things you have done to a character to move a plot along. (Remember to put them under a cut if they are TOO bad) Alternatively, tell us about any time you showed mercy and spared a character from a horror that would have helped the story along.

The current story (Don't Let Go) doesn't have anything terrible in it to move plot, but events happened in the past to bring them to where they are now. The story's more about setting to rights the mess between Seth and Marion so they can both move forward. Marion does get one hell of a nightmare though.

In Fairytales Don't Exist though, Bliss does go through alot of crap to get his happy ending. (For the moment ^^) In somewhat order he gets:
- Dumped by his boyfriend and effectively homeless
- Sucked into a portal to another world's desert
- Nearly run over
- Kidnapped twice
- Forced to ride a horse (for the first time) for several hours and endure the pain that causes in order to escape
- Enters indentured servitude to save his bodyguard from a death sentence
- Gets molested by his 'master'
- Watches the bastard die
- Watches his bodyguard get stabbed and nearly dies, unconsciously saves him amidst his panic only to freak out again as he does NOT HAVE magic

And there's still holes to fill in. Though what he moans about most is that he doesn't get anytime to 'sleep' with the bodyguard he falls in love with. Priorities. ^^
