Munday: Gotta Love Somebody
Let's talk about LOOOOVE! Specifically, the romantic kind, although there are of course many different ways to love somebody.
1) Are there any romances in your story/canon/fanon/universe? [If the answer is none, go to question 4]
There are, though not at the moment with Lucy. She's had her share of relationships in the past, though, short and long. She's just not found anyone to share her life with lately. Outside of her story things here, I kind of ship her with another one of my muses -- Simon from the music videos "I've Got Some Falling To Do" and "Bad Idea" by Lemon Demon and Too Much Spare Time Animation. They seem to like each other.
2) How central are these romances to the story in terms of plot?
Not central at all, really. I use Lucy here for short slice-of-life stuff, and a lot more of it centers around her theater work and travels than her romances, I've found. Though that incident with Cameron, where she found out she was the "other woman," did have a big impact on her. I suspect it's the reason she's not with anyone else at the moment -- she still feels a bit icky about that whole situation.
3) How important are these romances to the characters themselves?
Lucy likes being in a relationship, but she's also not averse to a one-night-stand. She's hoping one day to "settle down" with someone, boy or girl, but she's willing to wait for it to happen, and have some fun in the meantime. Romance is important to her, but it's not the be-all and end-all of life.
I answered 4 and 5 in Victor's, so I'll end this one here.
