Writing Goals

1. What is your short term writing goal?
To plot out a detailed storyline for the story I am attempting to write, also to focus on one story and not two or three or four.

2. What is your long term writing goal?
To get something published eventually.

3. What do you do help yourself achieve your writing goals?
Nothing at the moment due to several obligations but I found in university that making sure you write everyday really helps. Set yourself a word count target and a time of day to do it and stick to it.

4. What usually prevents you from reaching a writing goal you have set?
Life in general. I am searching for a job and taking care of my brother's puppy, which sometimes is like having a child. I have to try and keep him entertained and I can't do two things at once.

5. Do you reward yourself for writing goals reached? How?
I watch a show or have a snack as a celebratory moment! It seems to work!
