Saturday: Fact of Life
"The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence."
-Charles Bukowski
Not always -- I've met my share of confident and intelligent people. But we all know that person who'll just jump in with an opinion without getting all the facts, or insist that something is safe when it's clearly not, or -- you know the drill. They're the reason we need warning labels like "Don't use while sleeping." I guess it's easier to be confident when you're so sure of your own knowledge -- the more you learn, the more you doubt. Or, at least, that's supposed to be the case -- dunno how well it holds up in practice. Still, as long as we have ignorant people making decisions based on too little information, we're gonna have extra-large warning labels and weird-ass lawsuits. And sites on the internet to document this fail.
