Saturday Wrong People With Confidence?
"The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence."
-Charles Bukowski
Well, in my own personal experience, the intelligent people around here are generally full of confidence as well. Granted, I work and live with mad scientists, but Doc, Richard, Christopher, and Lewis tend to be very careful about their work. (Most of the time.) In Secundus, I think the quote would have to be amended to "those without common sense." It's that rather than stupidity that causes a lot of the problems around here. Alice tells me most of the monsters she has to fight escaped simply because their creators didn't put the proper thought into containing them. Same with experiments that don't go as they should -- the scientist typically wasn't thinking of a simple detail because they were too wrapped up in their own genius. Very smart people can do very silly things.
