Very Off Topic...
I just felt I wanted to share though...been working on fleshing out my main character...here's what I came up with.
Character Full Name: Alexandra Katherine Ander (A.K.A. Alex Ander P.I. Get it…lol)
Affiliation with main character (For villain and other characters): Hired by Gabrielle to figure out what caused the zombie apocalypse
Age: 33
Gender: Female (She thinks…most days…)
Physical Description (at least 2 paragraphs): 5'6'', pixie cut short dark brown hair, hazel eyes, 150lbs, curvy yet tomboyish. Alex doesn’t wear makeup mostly because 1. She doesn’t really need to, and 2. She finds it to be a complete waste of time when she could be doing other things. She does, however like to accessorize. Her jewelry collection could rival most famous movie stars. She wears suits to work, in a variety of blues, pinks, tans, and blacks…some pin stripe, some tailored, every one of them pants suits because in her line of work she should not wear a dress. When she’s going for a night on the town, however, she pulls out her favorite Versace dresses and actually might be caught wearing a bit of lipstick and eye shadow.
One thing Alex does like that is the most girly thing she will put up with is getting her nails done. She goes to her favorite salon Jusy Nails every few weeks to get them done with full tips and a different polish and design every time to flaunt whatever “mood” she is in at the moment.
Personality (at least 2 paragraphs): A private investigator with spunk. Addicted to caffeine and nicotine, and sleeps with a gun under her pillow. Never turns away a case, and solves anything from the mundane to the maniacal. Is secretly in love with her partner Private Investigator Jack Starkweather, but continually struggles with whether or not she wants to cross the boundary between work and love.
Her sense of humor is very open, she finds humor in almost everything because she virtually has to in order to keep her sanity. She has been known to giggle at autopsies when the stiff has a “stiffy” and when most people gag at the sight of bowl movements all she can do is try not to laugh while she is thinking the words caca, shitaki, poo….shitty-caca…
Personal Background (History): Alex doesn’t talk much about her past because she doesn’t really like to re-live it. She mostly lives in the present, and focuses on all things here and now for that reason. Alex’s parents died in a plane crash when she was 18, leaving her on her own watch over her little brother Micheal Raynebow Ander (what can she say, her parents were hippies), who thankfully, wasn’t very little….he was 17 at the time. He lived with her and went to school until he graduated, then moved out and took an adventure of his own, going to college in Arizona. She doesn’t get to see much of him because he is a lot like her parents, hippie by nature and quite the little roamer. If she can actually get a call from him she is happy to know that he is content and doing well.

Anything extra you’d like to add: Alex's world is Enigma. Part of the reason Alex became a private detective is due to the ways of her world and its mysterious past. There is always some new bad guy popping up with some new mysterious circumstances and happenings, and Alex, being curious, want’s to be the one to solve them all. Here are some examples of cases she has solved in her own world.
1. Jaded Dragon: Alex is hired by a woman to prove her brother's death was not suicidal like it appears
2. Wolf and Raven: Alex tracks down a killer with a very unique calling card left on every victim
3. Blood Lilies: secret admirer, or stalker from hell? Alex is hired by an heiress's father to investigate her new beau
4. Forbidden Whispers: Alex investigates a murder which may have two killers and a motive for money
5. Missing Pages: Alex follows clues left behind by a kidnapped victim hoping to find her before it's too late
6. Door # 502: cursed hotel, or an elaborate plan to collect on property insurance? Alex investigates the owner
7. Key of Tortures: serial killer with an SSDM fetish eludes Alex's attempts to bring him to justice
8. Margarita Chiquita: party girl with bad rep found murdered and no one is talking, not even her family
9. Wax Dolls: several girls murdered were found cradling tiny wax dolls in their hands
10. Poisonous Intentions: black widow, or simply unlucky? Alex tails a woman on a mission
11. Eyes for Envy: man murdered leaving several possible suspects. Alex investigates motive for local playboy's death
12. Matchbox Magic: serial arson strikes the city leaving people asking: mischief or witchcraft?
13. Scrambled, Not Boiled: several victims found to have only one thing in common, they all had a last meal of scrambled eggs
