More politics, less romance for Emil
"This government is losing its concept of check and balance."
It was all that Emil could do not to smirk. "Was it ever there to begin with?"
"You tell me. You were the one who voted for the over-aged spoiled brat sitting in the Palace," Ray said.
"One of the bigger mistakes of my life," Emil sighed. Then again, millions of others had also committed the same error, either in misplaced faith or as a knee-jerk reaction to the previous regime.
Ray whistled. "You think when we take the bar, we'll even *want* to practice?"
"Nothing's going to stop me."
