Munday: Facing The Flaws
What do you consider your hero's/protagonist's greatest flaw? What do you consider your villain's/antagonist's greatest virtue?
Lucy's greatest flaw -- probably that she can be a bit too impulsive at times. She'll decide to do something right on the spur of the moment. Sometimes this works out fine for her, sometimes not. After all, it was a impulse to prove that her powers were real that landed her in the asylum. And an impulse to just let them all out wily-nily that led to the place burning down. She works hard on whim control, but. . .it's not something you get over overnight.
She's kind of my "slice of life" character, so there's no consistent "villain." However, I could probably say something about Cameron -- you know, the girl who was cheating on her girlfriend with Lucy? Her virtue would be that she is actually very focused on making sure her partner enjoys herself, both in sex and romance. Lucy had no complaints about her behavior until Kris showed up. Cameron could be an excellent girlfriend if she'd get over the idea that, because of her sexuality, she's "allowed" to cheat.
