List the ten most annoying assumptions that people make about you.
Ida's take on this. I think I already know what would set Marce, Emil, and Darren off.
1. That I just collect fees for listening to people. Then again, some folks think this about therapists in general.
2. That just because I went to school in one of the most uppity places in my hometown, that I'm part of that vaunted 'elite' circle.
3. That I took up psychology since I couldn't major in anything else.
4. That just because I speak fluent English, I grew up in the USA or that I'm a snotty and uptight matron.
5. That I married Mark just for his money.
6. That I'm weird for adopting two children, and having three more of my own as well.
7. That I'm doomed to be unstable just because of that one attempt of mine as a teenager.
8. That I will forgive just about everything. Truth is....I don't.
9. That I'm the dutiful daughter. I'm not.
10. That I have connections everywhere. I don't, and even if I did, I wouldn't dare use them.
