Tonight, 100 words on instructing someone else.
A.N.: Another future!drabble, with Victor instructing his newly-Touched daughter Lorina on lab safety. It was the first thing that came to mind, and I thought it was a cute father/daughter moment.
Prompt: Instructions
“Now you always want to wear goggles for safety. . .and good thick gloves if you’re working with electricity or chemicals. . .a sturdy lab coat too. And thick shoes. And you never want to turn your back on any experiment--”
“Dad!” Lorina interrupted. “I’ve been watching you work all my life. I think I know how to do mad science safely.”
“I know, but – I worry. I don’t want you to get hurt.” Victor put his hand on her arm. “You’re my little girl.”
Lorina smiled at him. “I’ll be fine, Dad. You’ll see.” She poked him playfully. “I’ll show you.”
