Munday - Let's Go Exploring!
If you (the player, the writer, the typist) found yourself in your characters world, what would you do? Where would you go, and what would you see? How would you survive?
Bonus points: What would your character try to make you do / ask of you / if you met while you were there?
Well, Lucy's world is pretty much identical to ours, with the occasional weird event/supernatural powers, so I figure I'd be perfectly safe there. After all, I'm not a muse or an insanely unlucky person.
Secundus, on the other hand. . .first thing I'd have to do is get myself some period-appropriate attire, because I don't think the citizens would quite approve of the 21st-century stuff. They may be a little more lax on women wearing pants, but my shorts and T-shirts would raise some eyebrows. I'd probably do a tour of all the places I mention most often in the story -- Mad Hatter Haberdashery, Dr. E. L. Brown's 24-Hour Scientific Services, and Wonderland Park. It would be awesome to see them all in real life -- especially Wonderland Park. (So long as I arrived on a day when no Jabberspawn had broken containment and before the Queen's attempted takeover.) I'd also make sure to get myself some of March's squimberry tarts and some genuine Wonka chocolate (no offense to the brand that makes it in this world, but -- well, they've got a steampunk variation on the actual chocolatier). I think I'd do all right, so long as I wasn't abducted off the street or run over by anything -- I made the world, so I know all the rules to staying safe and in one piece in it.
As for what the characters might ask of me. . . Richard would probably insist on making me a hat. Doc and Marty might show off the flying steam train (oh hell, that's what I should do -- get myself a ride in it). And Victor and Alice would probably act as my guides around Wonderland Park. Which would be much appreciated, as I do have it so it's not all that hard to get lost in there. . .
