Munday alternate history (for me)
If you (the player, the writer, the typist) found yourself in your characters world, what would you do? Where would you go, and what would you see? How would you survive?
Bonus points: What would your character try to make you do / ask of you / if you met while you were there?
Here's the catch: the world of my characters is actually a slightly modified version of the world as I knew it from my teenage years up to the present day. The things that are different are some points of geography, organizations, and the fact that such a crazy bunch of teenagers actually exists.
But for purposes of this question, let's say I went to the same university with Marce, Emil, and their friends. I would have been enrolled as a pre-med psychology student there, and I would have been a staffer for the university newsletter, which at that time was known for its left-leaning, radical stances. If ever I decided to join the debate varsity, I would have signed up rather late in my university life. I would probably have been involved with the same activist group that Marce and Emil find themselves entangled with. I imagine I would have hung out a lot at the cafe where Marce worked part time (and where a lot of important things happened). However I wouldn't have gotten so caught up with all of the crazy things that were carried out in that establishment.
Also, I don't think I would have hung out much with Darren and his friends; their personalities would have been a bit much for me.
Given that, I probably would have met Marce. I might have been asked to collaborate with her on a piece for the paper or for an activist publication. I might have marched with her in some protests. If I met Emil, I would definitely have ended up working with him on a project, or covering one of his debates. Admittedly I wouldn't have been able to stop myself from getting caught up in their enthusiasm.
