Friday Not Much of a Shopper

Everybody ought to treat themselves now and then. You have our permission to have a shopping spree. Just list (and if you like, include pictures) ten items you would treat yourself to. Tell us your budget, and shop accordingly.

I -- um -- I feel weird about answering this, if only because it reminds me of how lucky I was going up. My parents could afford to buy me just about anything. N-not that I ever really asked for much. . . Ah -- l-let's say I have ten thousand pounds. My list:

• A flat for myself
  
• A piano for said flat
  
• A few spare sketchbooks
  
• Enough ink and quills to last me for a while
  
• An easel
  
• Paints and paintbrushes
  
• A trip to Burtonsville to pick up some things I left behind at my old house (mainly some favorite sketches, clothes, and maybe my desk)
  
• Help Doc fund his electrical generator so he can get his time machine working
  
• Give the Everglots a loan in hopes that this will sweeten their tempers a bit and they'll let Victoria marry who she's really in love with
  
• Donate whatever's left over to charity (I hear the Baudelaire's orphanage can always use something)
  

Yes, all right, so maybe some of those last items aren't exactly about treating myself, but I'm happiest when my friend are happy.
