Friday List
At long last, your day has come. You've been put in charge. Now, everybody must do as you say. List ten changes you would make, if only people would do the sensible thing and appoint you to call the shots.
Well, all it takes is an army...ahem... Not that.. I did that... Oh who am I kidding? These are the changes I made.
1. Everyone receives an opportunity to air a grievance in front of the highest authority (me). All implicated parties must be present and agree to whatever solution I suggest prior to hearing the verdict.
2. Veinblight would never be allowed an opportunity to spread. Infected who cannot control their infection are eliminated. I will do this if others are too weak to take an infected's life.
3. More schools will be available in more cities for students who wish to study what they want. No more isolated locations, far from support in times of emergency.
4. More recognition for Cyclops and their tribal organization. And protection for their tribal lands. They are not an idiotic race, just misunderstood, and incredibly useful as mercenaries.
5. Unification of countries to fight global threats. Except me. I am not a global threat.
6. Recognition of the Northlands as its own sovereignity and not a subsidiary of Iteraea. They should be allowed to choose their own leader as well. It might be me.
7. Restrictions on hunting of gryphons and dragons. They are intelligent creatures, not game.
8. I did not kill the King of Iteraea and there will be no more rumors spread that suggest that fact. He was infected with Veinblight and I only happened to suggest to his son that he should be put out of his misery. It was the kind thing to suggest. The court physician at the time was an idiot. It doesn't matter that I was still a young girl. It also does not matter that I am now ruling Iteraea. There was no conspiracy. And I didn't kill the grandson of the King either. He accompanied me into battle and fell at the hands of the Daemons. In fact, I have never taken the life of an heir to the throne of Iteraea.
9. Libraries should not be restricted to those approved by the various schools. Any citizen should be able to acquire knowledge if they so desire.
10. More research should be funded into non-magical prevention and remedies for Veinblight as Nulls have no protection against the disease.
