That's most likely true. Our goal is difficult. Our path littered with danger. No one said it would be easy, yet here we are. I joined the Revolutionists in order to make a change. To go against the Tyrant, is to go to the grave. So this Beecher may be right.
But isn't it worth it? If death is the sacrifice needed to create opportunity for a better kingdom, then perhaps the choice is easy. I wonder: would Beecher be willing to see it through and ensure his death makes a diffference? Or would he just give in, let Him win? We must be willing to see this through. We must stand firm. And we must see this through because this world is hard, but how much better it will be if we can change it. Montagini is right. We must prevail. And Beecher is right. The easiest part is the dying.
