Wednesday: Blue (da ba dee) & Twosday (15.05)

...write a response to it from your character's point-of-view/pertaining to your character!

Does this prompt have anything to do with this song? :D

I have decided that I`m going to get to know Josh better, so that`d be him. I had trouble finding a blue pic, because the ones I really liked were green, but I guess this one would have to do. It's set when they first arrive on Earth, so the Europa Sveta is reffering to is Jupiter's moon.

"...Amazing..." Marianne whispered, completely awe-struck.

"Better than that frozen Hell - Europa." Sveta chimed in, leaning forward to take a better look.

Josh followed them closely behind. The moment he looked down the cliff he felt gravity pulling him down and the sea shore rising to meet him. He instantly pulled back, stumbling over his feet and landing on the ground.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Sveta asked, completely ignoring him.

"It`ll be amazing!" Marianne bobbed her head up and down, bubbling with enthusiasm.

"You're insane!" Josh protested, his heart racing like a mad horse in his chest.

"Must be hard living with that stick up your ass!" Sveta exclaimed, looking down on him.

"If you break a bone, how am I supposed to carry you back?" Josh, asked firmly, changing tactics.

"Just whistle and that Master of yours will come to the rescue." Sveta cut him off and grabbed the smaller woman by the hand.

"Master?" Marianne asked, halting them once again.

"You don`t know?" Sveta's tone danced with surprise and self-satisfaction at being the one in on the secret.

"Tell me!" Marianne tugged at her hand pleadingly.

Josh felt the dark clouds looming over them press him hard into the cold ground. He immediately jumped on his feet. "Sveta!" he hissed in warning that was met by a harsh laugh.

"Ignorant fools need to suffer!" Sveta proclaimed. Josh felt a hard tug and next thing he knew he was flying face down towards the rocky beach.

A few kilometars away:

Mikael stopped in his tracks. He put a hand to his ear and listened carefully "Joshua is screaming." He announced after a second to the rest of the group that had already reached the same conclusion.

Tell us about a triumph, and about a failure.

Josh's POV:

In reality any failure can be turn into a triumph. You just need to have the right attitude towards things. But that`s not the point, I guess.

Let me see, something I did recently and made me happy... Shatner! I fought William Shatner. *leans back with a smug smile on his face, but then quickly leans forward* I know, fighting is bad, I've said it enough times myself. I don`t really remember the details of that night. I was drunk and I think I might have flirted with his sister... yes, I clearly remember insulting him... Next thing I know I am exchanging blows with this guy that is a head shorter than me, but still coming at me with everything he`s got! The patrons were screaming and then it sort of played out like those old western movies. It was insane! I broke my rib, but I smashed that face of his... Then he became famous... *another smug smile*

No matter what I say there are some failures that just can`t be turned into triumphs. Gods! I can`t stop blaming myself for Nasha! She was the first one to turn... I should have seen it! I was the one tasked with finding out if Earth is safe. And I knew - I saw it! But I only mentioned it. I never thought we`d stay on Earth for this long. I should have made them leave the minute I found that their bodies are changing! But they wanted to stay and complete the mission. Now Nasha is dead and gone, because I wasn`t man enough to tell them to get the Hell out of Earth. I wonder how the situation would play out now...
