Friday Sorry I'm Late & Saturday But I Wanna Share!
This prompt is a little late! So in honor of that, list us all the excuses you use when you're late to whatever important thing you happen to be late to.
1. Got distracted by something else
2. Transportation trouble (typically late-running buses or cabs)
3. Illness
4. Hungover/exhausted (after a night spent partying a little too hard)
5. Laziness (yeah, I'll admit to it if it's a good friend who'll understand)
Do not speak of your happiness to one less fortunate than yourself.

But what if I want to share my happiness with someone, and the only person I can find is someone less fortunate?
Yeah, I know what he means -- don't brag to people who might be hurt by your good luck. But I thinks sharing good news can be done without doing that. And no group of people, even the closest set of friends, are going to always be at the same happiness level. Sometimes, you're gonna be happy, and they're gonna be down, and vice-versa. The trick is to allow equal time. You share your good news, then encourage them to talk. Everybody gets to share what's important to them, and congratulations or condolences are spread as needed. And if somebody has a problem, you talk it out. We all should be adults here, after all.
