Following Shadow Raven's Lead...What I missed during vacation...

Monday, April 30: There's a lot of talk about how there's no truly original ideas under the sun as far as plots go. Some people say every story can fall under one of three basic plots; others say it's just the Hero's Arc laid out by Campbell, and still others say there are many more possible paths to play.

Today, we invite you to look at one particular school of thought, which lays out 37 Classic Conflicts that are recurring themes in much literature.

Which of these sources of drama and tension can you see in your own character's story? Tell us about them, illustrate away with examples!

My Alex Ander P.I. series of stories falls under many categories...crime, drama, action, adventure, romance, comedy, supernatural just to name a few.  Here's the one's I found match the best.

Monday, May 7: Do you have a message in your writing, something big and important you feel you need to say that spurs you to write? If so, what is it?

I write to inspire people to find justice in an unjust world, to help them to see the lighter side of life, to encourage them to follow their heart, and to keep them sitting on the edge of their seats craving more.

Tuesday, May 8: Tell us two things that you think everyone should have the 'right' to have. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.... or what, exactly

1. Justice
2. Freedom
