Mass Post 2
Monday, April 30: There's a lot of talk about how there's no truly original ideas under the sun as far as plots go. Some people say every story can fall under one of three basic plots; others say it's just the Hero's Arc laid out by Campbell, and still others say there are many more possible paths to play.
Today, we invite you to look at one particular school of thought, which lays out 37 Classic Conflicts that are recurring themes in much literature.
Which of these sources of drama and tension can you see in your own character's story? Tell us about them, illustrate away with examples!

Monday, May 7: Do you have a message in your writing, something big and important you feel you need to say that spurs you to write? If so, what is it?
Everything I write has a message in it, but the message isn't why I write it. I write it because all these characters get into my head and they won't leave me alone until their story is written.
Tuesday, May 8: Tell us two things that you think everyone should have the 'right' to have. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.... or what, exactly
- A second chance
- The opportunity to follow their dreams
