Alicia McDermet
This is my first post here. I hope I'm doing this right.
1. Select a character.
2. Visit this generator and pick a random mood
3. Write a drabble (100 words) or short fic featuring said character and mood.
4. Profit.
I saw him across the room, sipping champagne casually. God I hate that man, I thought as I watched Byn Johnson chatting up a leggy blonde. She probably bought into the government hype about him - those posters that showed him fighting psychics. They always made sure to get a good shot of those sparkling teeth and tight pecs.
He smiled at me and began to make his way through the crowd. My body froze with panic as I realized he had singled me out. Did he know? Of course not. I'd done nothing to give myself away, and I was such a low-level psychic he couldn't feel my presence. I'd heard that he was a powerful enough psychic to feel the presence of others like him, but he couldn't have honed in on me...right? He probably just noticed me watching him with the fake smile I kept on to be pleasant. It didn't hurt to stay pleasant. I got less attention that way.
He began speaking to the woman next to me, a high-society type - all flash and no style. I relaxed and moved casually away from them. Of course he was only trying to reach the beautiful woman next to me. Why would he want to talk to a normal looking 13 year old anyway.
It was time to get out of here. I didn't like parties anyway.
