Thursday: Inspired But Ungrateful

Lucy's generated mood: Inspired on the surface, but offended underneath.

A.N.: I liked this the minute I saw it. I thought, "Well, maybe not everyone's grateful for the invisible help Lucy gives," and went from there.

“This is just not working!”
Lucy looked over to see a man looking disconsolately at a sketchpad. “I just can’t get this face to look right!” he continued to himself.
Lucy grinned. “Maybe you should try it from a different angle?” she suggested, tapping him on the shoulder. Her power jumped from her to him.
The man turned to her, blinked, then looked thoughtful. “You – wait.” He looked around. “Maybe a different view is what I need. Thanks.”
“You’re welcome!” Lucy nodded, and turned away.
“Though I didn’t ask for your help.”
Lucy suddenly wished she could take back what she’d given.
