Tuesday shockers
Tell us about a time somebody shocked/surprised/startled you.... and a time you were the shocker, rather than the shockee.

Back when I was a sophomore college student, I was *convinced* to go to a party between the psych students and the engineering students. While I was summoning up the courage to go on the dance floor, I heard someone behind me ask if I could dance with him. I was so shocked I nearly tipped over my drink.
It only turned out to be Mark....yeah him. He was my best guy friend but we also had a major love hate phase at that point.
As for the time I was the shocker...well, the very next second. He realized it was me...me in an electric blue dress. Me in an electric blue dress, in a crazy party, and actually ready for some fun on the dance floor.
We became a couple that night, to cut a long story short.
