Munday: Supporting Cast Thoughts

Inspired by the exercises here, your writing challenge for today is to describe how one of your character's supporting cast views your character. Is this in agreement with how your character views him/herself? Radically different?

Lucy doesn't have much in the way of "supporting cast," but there's always recurring character Trevor to consider. So let's see. . .

Trevor and Lucy have been friends for a while now -- at least three or four years, probably more. He sees Lucy as almost boundless fountain of energy, and he really likes her positive attitude. He does think she has an tendency to rush into things sometimes, though, and doesn't always think things through. Part of the reason they're friends is that he feels she needs him. He's a little more low-key than her, and he figures she could use a friend like him to bail her out of trouble sometimes. (Lucy has to admit that this is probably very true.) Of course, they also share a love of pranking and silliness, so sometimes he does go 'the hell with it' and follows her into the insanity.

I suppose it's worth mentioning that Trevor does know about Lucy's stint in the asylum. He was shocked to hear about it, but very supportive. The knowledge does make him worry some about what if something really bad happens to her and she has a relapse. Also another reason why he wants to be a friendly rock for her. (Lucy, of course, can't tell him that she really IS a muse. She's too scared he'd try to get her to see someone again 'for her own good.' Which he might.)
