“Blackmail or silent treatment?”
“The former. At least it’s somewhat productive.”
Wena raised an eyebrow. “I thought one of the reasons that you and Farrah broke up was that she tried to blackmail you into doing everything.” It had been several months since that awkward incident, but it was still all too fresh in everyone’s minds.
“Yep, but I did have enough to defend myself with,” Emil argued as he stirred his coffee. “But when anyone, especially a girl, decides not to talk to you, nothing gets resolved.”
“Which is why it’s our best weapon, buddy.”
“Don’t I know it.”
