Twosday Tall Differences
Take a look at yourself from ten years ago, and then how you are today. Tell us two things that are different.
Well, the most obvious difference is that I'm quite a bit taller these days. I was actually quite a short child, believe it or not. Mother says I sprouted up like a weed when I hit the growing years, and -- yes, that does about sum it up. It's another thing I inherited from Father's side of the family -- you start off small, then end up tall.
As for another difference. . . I've certainly become more interested in science these days. I've always loved butterflies, but as a nine-year-old, I was more fascinated by their aesthetic appeal. (That makes me sound like the most pretentious nine-year-old ever. Allow me to rephrase: "They're pretty and I like to draw them!") It wasn't until I turned twelve that I started getting interested in entomology proper. And of course, nowadays, I find myself fascinated by a lot more than insect-related science!
