Perhaps that was true enough when I was at home. When your family is as rich as mine, there's actually not a lot for you to do in the way of work. I think I was expected to make my bed and not make too much work for the maid in my room, and that was it. I had quite a lot of free time, and not all of it could be said to be spent productively.
Now, though. . .well, working for a living means you can't really afford to misspend your time. I'm almost always engaged in something productive now. Granted, people could say that I'm still not using my leisure time wisely, but a man does need time to breathe and be himself. You can't spend every moment working or sleeping.
