Naomi watched as the the sprawling city-planet grow larger and larger as the neared Earth. "Why wouldn't I want to live on a starship when my homeworld is so ugly?"
"You know I've seen pictures of your planet from years ago." Yazda replied. It wasn't always such an ugly brown city."
"I doubt that." Naomi snorted.
"It's true." She protested. "Before you humans built all of those buildings it was a beautiful blue and green globe. I read that your oceans were once more stunning than the lakes of Aquinia and that there were gorgeous mountains that soared even taller than your skyscrapers."
Naomi looked at Yazda incredulously. "If you say so."
