Twosday: Early and Late
Tell us about a time you were early, and a time you were late.
Well, I'm generally early for rehearsals -- it's just smart. I think the earliest I ever was for one was when I was working on a Halloween production, and I misheard the time we were all going to get together. Showed up a hour early at the theater as a result. Once I realized my mistake, I amused myself exploring the place and setting up a little prank to greet the others (dressed up a dummy I found in one of our ghost costumes and put it guarding the door).
As for late -- I once missed boarding a flight to Nebraska because of traffic. There was an accident on the road, and I got to the airport just too late to board. The people at the counter were really nice about it and got my flight changed quickly, but still, that was frustrating. And being stuck in an airport for a hour is not nearly as fun as being stuck in a theater. (Then again, it was a pretty crummy airport -- one of the big ones with lots of shops might be okay.)
