1. Is the name you have now the same name that's on your birth certificate? If not, what's changed?
Nope- for one, I've changed the last name three times since then, dropped good portions of the middle and first...
I'm down to L Cushing - someday I might even be down to just plain L, though I like the Cushing because of the happy married thing. But it's to the point where if someone calls me Laura , I have to stop a moment to realize they're talking to me.
2. If you could change your name (first, middle and/or last), what would it be?
I change how I please.. as I said, someday, I might just be L. I enjoy the simplicity.
3. Why were you named what you were? (Is there a story behind it? Who specifically was responsible for naming you?)
My mother and father liked the sound of it. That's the entire story.
4. Are there any names you really hate or love? What are they and why?
I enjoy names with an El sound for girls. Elanna, Elsa, Elspeth, Elizabeth, Elora, etc. I have quite a few characters based on that sound.
For guys, I like the name William an awful lot- Gregory is another favorite, Kieran is a cool name.
