nothing ever fits quite right

Just for fun ;)

I had a fan IM today! Some Russian guy who had read my poetry and wanted some tips on writing and English grammar. I felt very proud, especially considering I haven't had any fans since I stopped writing for the Times. Go me! I also posted my PoTC icons in a PoTC icon community and got praise there. But! Just to insure that I don't get a swollen head or anything, I got critical-type-stuff too.

One was from a college type student in poetryslamming who edits her college lit mag and apparently is 'tired of seeing poetry like mine'. The whole business was rather rude, but since it was poetryslamming where rudeness occurs frequently (and is kind of cool) I was like "spiff- I can understand that opinion."

But the really, really funny one was in the poetrycritic comm. This kid just made me laugh a lot.
