Friday Five and Weekly Wrapup
From Friday Five
1. What time do you wake up on weekday mornings?
Too early! Nine am
2. Do you sleep in on the weekends? How late?
On our 'weekend', I sleep till 11 or 12.
3. Aside from waking up, what is the first thing you do in the morning?
Go to the bathroom, of course. Doesn't everyone?
4. How long does it take to get ready for your day?
10 minutes
5. When possible, what is your favorite place to go for breakfast?
The kitchen.
From Weekly Wrapup
1. Have you ever taken a break from LJ? Why?
Yep- when Aus and I moved cross-country.
2. How long was your break, if at all? If you didn't take a break, how much time is enough for a break, either as a journaler or as a journal reader?
Few months.
3. Have you ever dropped someone from your friends list for taking a break (short or long)? Why or why not?
Nah, I've got people on there that I'm still waiting for them to come back from the Great Beyond.
4. What would prompt you to take a break? Real life or online life? What's the difference?
Being busy with other things. Generally, unless the computer is down, I wouldn't take a break from my journal. Writing in my journal makes me happy, and helps me keep a good record of what's going on.
5. If you took a journal break, what was it like when you returned? Alternatively, if you know someone who took a journal break, were you glad to see him/her journal again? Why?
It was good to get back to writing- I'd missed it.
Bonus Question: What's the secret of journaling success?
Just write what you think and feel- write anything you want to write, only for you. The people on your friends list will either like to read what you write, or skim over you on the way to a more exciting entry. Either way- write for you, and never be afraid to be honest about what you feel or think.
