THIS is how you do a period drama, it's so EPIC & PERFECT.

I'm invested in all of the characters, whether I love them or loathe them.

The acting is immense. Maggie Smith is hilarious. Anna/Bates have me shipping so hard. Hugh Bonneville is an old favourite of mine.

I'm not sure how I am going to survive a year without it. Did anyone else watch this show?

I just started watching Mad Men about 5 days ago & I'm almost done watching Season 4. I got hooked.

Roger & Joan are my newest ship & it makes me frustrated that I like ANOTHER couple that the writers like to play around with (this happens way too often to the couples I ship.) After watching everything all at once I see how much they love each other & it makes me so sad that their not together.

I'M ALIVE

So I haven't been on here since June...I miss this place but there is just not enough hours in the day while I'm at camp to look at LJ & comment on people's posts :(

I love being at camp but I'm excited to go home too because I miss my family so much.

Just seen my first RDJ recent photo for almost 3 months & he needs to get his hair cut ASAP.

I look forward to catching up with everyone when I return & hope everyone is doing okay.

So I watched 'An Education' last night & LOVED IT. I now have a major crush on Peter Sarsgaard & would very much like a whirlwind romance like in the movie. Carey Mulligan was kinda awesome, I've never really seen her in anything before....I can see why the Oscar noms happened but think Peter should have gotten a bit more recognition.

So I have finished Season 1 of Lost & am now watching Season 2 online because I can't afford to buy it (I go to the US for 3 months in 2 weeks).

My conclusion of S1 - SO FUCKING EPIC. I love John Locke, he is my favourite character with Charlie coming in a very close second.

After watching the whole season I did realise I must have watched them before. Oops.

LOST FINALE

Okay so let me start off by saying, I think I have missed out on a show that could possibly have been my favourite show of the past 6 years, for that I am sad.

This finale was EPIC, the following thoughts are from someone who has not seen an episode of Lost since around the 5th episode of season 1.

The thing that did it for me was the flashbacks. Everyone's flashbacks had me in tears. From the first til the last, & I don't even know the characters that well. It was just so beautifully done, with the music and the actor's reactions. Oh, perfect.

When I first read about the finale I was like 'WHAT THE FUCK THEY WERE ALL DEAD THE ENTIRE TIME' - wrong. Tumblr confuses me on purpose I think. I don't think there could have been a better ending other than the one in 30 Rock where the island was all Hurley's dream, haha!!!

I'm not sure what else to say....I have a few questions:

Is Ben a baddie? (Cos I kinda love him.)
Where did that plane come from & the pilot in the water? (Surely he is not from their flight.)
Other than the people in the episode had every other person from S1 & since died?

I'm sure I had more......

Sherlock Holmes/Iron Man 2

I know, I know. What a shock that RDJ is in here. I actually think this is the only time he will be involved. Sherlock Holmes was made of so much win. I loved pretty much everything about it, I actually saw it at the cinema 4 times. Iron Man 2 did not disappoint and I think seeing it on IMAX completely blew my mind!
RDJ can do no wrong in my eyes and I think both of these movies show how amazing he is and how far he has come. He is nothing like the man that was 'fired' from Ally McBeal many years ago.
