About Chapter by Chapter

I wanted to track my Bible reading, but most plans felt too prescriptive. Miss a day and you're behind. Fall behind and the guilt creeps in.

Then I came across a simple PDF by Matthew Everhard — every chapter of the Bible, ready to tick off as you read it. No daily schedule, no catching up, no guilt. Just a record of where you'd been and a nudge toward where you hadn't. Something clicked.

The goal of this app is the same: a companion for your journey through Scripture, not a plan to keep up with. You choose what to read, and when. It tracks your progress, celebrates the milestones, and quietly cheers you on.
