Forms Enhancements – Now Live

 

New Feature

  

We’ve introduced several improvements to the Forms experience to better support survey-based use cases and large-scale data handling:

🔹 Automatic Learner Data Capture

  • Forms embedded within course lectures will now automatically capture the learner’s name and email upon submission. This eliminates the need for manual data entry and ensures accurate user identification in submissions.

🔹 Enhanced Submissions View

The Form Submissions interface now includes:

  • Search functionality to quickly filter large datasets
  • An improved layout to expand and review detailed responses more efficiently

🔹 Export for Large Data Sets

  • You can now export all form submissions, including large datasets (10,000+ records), into CSV or XLS formats using a new export capability designed for high-volume data.

This update makes it easier to manage and analyze form data within the BrainCert LMS. You can now quickly export responses for reporting, sharing, or deeper insights without manual effort.

Improved Course Access Restrictions

 

New Feature

  

We’ve improved how course access works. Now, when a course is removed, turned off, or expires, users will no longer be able to access its content.

Key Updates

Deactivate Course: When a course is turned off, users won’t be able to access assessments or assignments. If the course is turned back on, their access will be restored.

Delete from User: When a course is removed from a user, they lose access to everything, including tests and certificates.

Auto Expiry: When a course expires, users automatically lose access to all its content.

Users can no longer view or continue assessments once their course access is removed, making access more secure and consistent.

Optimized Email Delivery With MailerLogic

 

New Feature

  

We’ve upgraded the LMS’s default email delivery system to give you better control over branding and email management.

What’s Changing?

We’ve migrated our email delivery service to our newly launched MailerLogic email delivery platform.

  • Updated Sender Address: You’ll notice a new “From” email address — noreply@email.braincert.net for all system-generated emails, including course enrollments, password resets, and announcements.

This upgrade improves deliverability, reliability, and long-term flexibility for future email features.

How to send emails from your own domain?

You can send emails from your own domain in two ways:

  • Use your own SMTP relay: Connect your custom SMTP server and send emails from your own domain. BrainCert will handle all email processing and route messages through your SMTP relay.

  • Use our White-Label Email Service add-on: With a one-time activation fee, you can send unlimited emails from your own domain. Our team takes care of the full setup—including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC—so you can start sending right away without running into Gmail or Outlook limits or paying for costly third-party services like SendGrid. This update helps enhance email delivery control and supports improved email branding and management.
