Lucian Truscott knows his U.S. history like few authors on this platform. Much respect for his reporting and perspective.
Heartfelt, introspective and moving writing on profoundly deep topics. The one on Jordan Neely, in particular, got me to subscribe.
A deep dive into early feminists and sexism/misogyny that LONG predates any other "ism." She perfectly relates it to modern misogyny/sexism. Plus, we are both history buffs and connect on that level too.
This author not only writes interesting stuff, but he seeks to elevate women writers around him which is so rare, particularly on such important topics as "daddy issues" that have plagued my entire existence. He's a true ally to women.
This publication covers important Black history and current events. Learning from those who live it is the best way.
