This is in the news – right after the Bush Sr. funeral, Hillary seems to have ditched Bill and jetted off to India to attend the wedding of the century there. PHOTOS  Mukesh Ambani, Mr. Monopoly of India, is hosting a lavish affair. He is head of oil and gas giant Reliance Industries.

“The Anna Seva [celebration] will coincide with the pre-wedding celebrations that will host global politicians, business leaders, and Bollywood bigwigs.” Hillary will spending time with coal magnates and Bollywood celebrities. “The celebrations in Udaipur began on a grand scale with Isha’s mother Nita Ambani paying tribute to Shrinathji in the form of a graceful dance. The mother of the bride-to-be danced to a religious melody of ‘Adharam Madhuram’. The décor spells tradition, elegance and class, all combined into one. The huge and beautifully lit-up idol makes for the perfect backdrop.”

Reliance Industries is connected to the Reliance Foundation that helps India’s rural poor people. It is connected to the Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai.

Looking at the Reliance Foundation we so no tie to the Clinton Foundation. But there’s possibly a connection to the Indo European Business Forum which gave a special prize to Bill.  We’ll add more in comments here if we find more India-CF news.
