The archaeological site of Bolve Castellote is located in the top of the crown, in an area with panoramic views of the Cerdanya plain. Between centuries IV and II BC Castellote was one of the most important of Ceretans later the Roman conquest evolved towards a production center and control of the new Roman power. At the end of the first century BC, coinciding with the end of the Roman civil wars, the citadel was abandoned and did not return to be inhabited until the eleventh century when it was installed a fortified town.
In this app, co-director of excavations Castellot, archaeologist Jordi Morera, answers frequently asked questions that visitors do when they are at the site. The app incorporates GPS to locate the visitors and offers a route on a map with 14 points of interaction. The app is available in Catalan and Spanish.
