BUT IN OTHER NEWS!!!!!

IT'S MUSIC DOWNLOAD DAY!!!!

Today I've decided to inflict upon you, my beloved flist, songs from two of my favorite bands that you've probably never heard of! October Project and Nightwish!

Bury My Lovely
October Project
I cannot *STRESS* how much you absolutely need to download this song off of me if you've never heard October Project before. This group has the most gorgeously unique style of blending an etheral/folky style with a more modern sound. Their music is FANTASTIC in caps lock. Like totally wow. This is the first October Project song I ever heard and it's still my favorite (although 'Take Me As I Am' and 'Sunday Morning, Yellow Sky' are up there). It tells a story- a dark, bitter sort of ghostly tale- and... and I can't even describe it. October Project is that little band of mine (and, um, Cat's ^__^) that everyone *should* have heard before, but hasn't. So download. Now. And bask in the glory and love that is October Project!

Dead Boy's Poem
Nightwish
It's more likely that you've heard of Nightwish than October Project. Thanks to a sudden increase in the popularity of Gothic Rock (thanks mostly to Amy Lee and Ben Moody of the Evanescence fame) Euro-goth bands like Nightwish, Lacuna Coil and Within Temptation have been gaining steady popularity in North America. In my opinion, Nightwish is the best of all of them- and there stil isl a distinct possibility that you've never heard of them. So, for those of you that don't know: Nightwish is a band from Finland that specializes in Gothic Rock. And I don't mean "Oh, I am so miserable, woe is me!" Gothic Rock. I mean "OMG! ORCHESTRATED OPERATIC DRAMATIC STORY TELLING EPIC HOLY CRAP!!!!" Gothic Rock. It may be said that their music can occasionally be formulatic, but that doesn't change the fact that it's amazing. And their lead singer is a proffesional OPERA SINGER. YO! Anyways, this song is generally a good introduction to Nightwish. It took me a while to choose the perfect song for those who may have never heard of the band, but in the end I decided that this song worked pretty well into converting me into a Nightwish fan, so it should work pretty decently for you all. ^___^ That and it's got huge Ryuuguu-ey connections like no one's business. I love Shodan. So much.

Comment if you download, comment if you missed a song, enjoy, ect. ect. ect. The End.

Love, Cephied.
