I hate my school. A lot.
I am slightly less rage-filled than I was several hours.
Model Parliment elections didn't quite go as planned. Last week we were riding high on wings of pure hubris, convinced that we would do even better than we did in last year's election. However, the vote came in today and we only earned eleven seats as compared to last year's thirteen. This isn't the part that makes me angry, however. The punchline to this little story is that we tied with the Bloc Qubecquois. We TIED with a party who's campaign slogan was "We drop it like it's hot!" What. The. Fuck.
... ARGH! I want to PUNCH things. I cannot properally articulate my rage. There are just no words. I am so frustrated. Our party is so intelligent, filled with witty ideas and brilliant plots but the other parties get by riding on fucking popularity. I'm sorry that I've never seen the movie Napoleon Dynamite, but I can assure you that even if I had I would not validate it's use in my party's campaign posters because I belive that the NDP is fucking witty enough to get by on it's own without quoting some stupid comedy in hopes of gaining pity votes.
I hate you, Liberal party of HWHS.
However, my self-righteous (and slightly irrational) anger is tempered by excitment. Our busking troupe, The Illuminati, have recieved permission to participate in 'The Pajama Party' (dumbly titled talent show in order to raise money for the musical, 'The Pajama Game' *rolls eyes). With fire. We are performing with fire at school. With permission.
FIRE. God, I hate my school. But I like fire. Oh yes, I like fire. ^______^
In other news, I finally have A WRITING JOURNAL! It's rather strange that I didn't have one already consdiering I am an aspiring writer. Well, I did have one, but I didn't use it. But I will use this one. I'm currently sharing it with
kaiousei since we both agreed that more writing gets done when you're writing in a shared blog. I don't know why this logic works, but I assure you it does. I also invited Rebecca to join in on it as well, but she refused to learn how to use lj cut so I had to retract my invitation. T___T
So yeah. There's not much to look at yet since we just started it last night, but you should do me a favour and check it out. Mostly fanfiction will be posted there, but I know I most certainly will post the occasional post for original writing. You can find the writing journal at
