My computer sucks.

That being said:

Ashley, your website is uploaded. For, um, the most part. There were four images that were too big to upload so I have to make them smaller. Which is a bit annoying, but I have a free last period tommorow so I'll have plenty of time to do it.

I suck at NaNo... because I am hating the third chapter of my story. I've got more written in Dorian's half than Faelia's, which is kinda, sora a problem. If I leave Faelia's story until the end, I'll never get it finished. Grr... I have a headache from staring at the computer for so long, but I am absolutely determined to reach 1200 words TONIGHT. *dramatic pose*

I finally saw more of the Naruto anime. I slept over at Dawn's on Friday night and we stayed up until seven in the morning watching it. It's actually... surprisingly good, though it's nothing compared to the manga. I like the action sequences, though, and some of the elaboration is nice (Haku and Zabuza's deaths, for example). Orochimaru has the COOLEST THEME MUSIC EVAAAAAR! OMG! and some of the other BG music was simply gorgeous. The curse seal animation is really awesome, as are the Mangekyou mindtrips. Itachi for some weird reason looks a hell of a lot less feminine than he did in the manga ("Foolish little brother. You cannot defeat me as long as I am girlier than you."). I hate Sasuke's voice. A lot. It's unfortunate, since his voice actor is incredibly talented. I dislike Orochimaru's gross old man voice as well. It makes me want to cry. And for some reason I always thought that Gaara would have a little-kid voice. He seems more effective that way for some reason. o.O;; On the bright side, Sakura and Naruto have amazing voices and I loooOOOoooove Neji. A lot. His voice was so perfect I fangirled madly everytime he was on screen. ^_____^

Okay, so in conclusion: The manga is better, but the anime is a decent adaption with brilliant fight scenes.

Some of the characterization was a bit off in the anime as well (*coughSasukecough*), but um... I'll stop with the nitpicking. o____o

I also finally saw The Shawshank redemption. I've wanted to see that move for longer than I can remember. It was beautiful, and fantastically well written. The main character- he was just so INTELLIGENT! I died of random admiration for him at the end when all his plans fell together and... and... yeah, it was just good. *dances* Gregory also forced the movie 'The Razor's Edge' upon me. Not that I minded, since it was an excellent and supremely depressing film.

Depressing in exactly the same way Ledgends of the Fall was depressing. I am such a sucker for angst. ^____^

I actually have nothing else to post about. Oh, yeah.
