-.-;;
Get this- after all that work I did to get switched into the PAL class I'm in right now, I got switched out almost immedietly (our school hired new staff, so some of the classes got switched around). Gregory was a bit miffed as well since he was in my PAL class, and suggested that I just scan in my scheduel, "fix it up" on Adobe and print it off again.
... Wow. It's so... terribly devious and dishonest and so, so, so... almost but not quite immoral. I LOVE IT! There may be some hope for Gregory yet! ^ ^
Yeah. I have not been keeping up on doing ANYTHING. I splurged my paycheck this weekened (my Tokyo Babylon DVD is coming in two weeks! Whee!), but I guess that's not what's REALLY important.
I had a "health emergency". Well, okay, *I* didn't really think it was an emergency, but everyone else seemed to. Which would explain why I was in the ER for four hours in Friday when I COULD have been doing a Chemisty 12A test *grumble grumble grumble* On Thursday morning my vision went blurry. It was really, really sudden. I was sitting in Chemistry, I closed my eyes and when I opened them, I couldn't read the board. Then I looked at Leslie- and couldn't make out her face. Now, granted that this WAS interferring with my ability to participate in school to my fullest capacity, I wasn't sick or anything, so figured I *could* stay in school, just not... do... anything even remotely producive.
I went down to see the school nurse just to make sure that I wasn't having an anurism (being the uber-hypochondriac that I am) and they sent me home. My Dad's side of the family was frantic- apparently they figured out that my Grandmother had Diabeties because she went blurry-eyed under similar condition. So, WHAM, I spent Friday morning AND afternoon in the ER. The adult ER. Apparently I'm not young enough to go in the Children's hospital anymore T.T.
In the end we decided to see my family doctor. Dr. Vitale assured us that is was most likely a migraine, but if the problem persists, or gets worse, or I get sick within the next week I porbably should go back to the hospital.
Well, that was my big adventure. La la la.
I finished 'Winds of Fury' in the ER. I'm into the Storms now. Wow, I forgot how much I admire Mercedes Lackey *urges people to read Valdemar*. I adore all the new characters in the Storms (whee, Karal) and think that Firesong may just be becoming my favorite Valdemar character. ?c a r t h e s i s 's next layout will probably be Firesong based. ^ ^
And now I have to go to work.
