Ouch. >__< *GOOD* Ouch
Oh wow.
First of all, I want to apologize for not replying to my friend's list lately. I haven't been on the internet for more than 10 minutes since summer vacation started. I'm only on right now to kill time because I have to tape South Park at 2AM today, since I wasn't home at 10:30PM. And if I miss Towelie, how will I ever live with myself?
Anyways, I am very sorry. I know it's pretty unfair of me to be posting when I haven't been keeping up with my friend's list. ^___^:;
But I've been busy. I finally lit up my rope dart on Sunday.

O. M. frickin G!!!!!!
Seriously... you can do all the dry practice with fire arts in the world, but nothing compares to actually LIGHTING IT UP! Plus I'm practicing some new moves... I figure out this really funky double neck-wrap tonight. Yeah, I don't do REAL rope dart, but the stuff I do looks cool. ^_____^
Here is where I will post all fire art pictures involving my friends and I from now on. Check the link out- these pictures are definitely worth looking at. Bobo... I'll take down your pictures tommorow when I'm not dead tired. I procastinate... la la la. o.O;;
Anyways, so we were doing fire (Leslie, Lici, Lindsay and I. Rebecca tagged along though she doesn't have her fans yet), taking all our usual (strenious) saftey percautiouns when we hear this fire siren.
... which wasn't strange because we were reasonably close to the fire station. So the fire engine gets closer and we're like: "NO way that's for us...". Then the fire truck turns the corner. We're a bit less giggly now, but still under the impression that: "There's NOOOO way that's for us."
Y'know, then the truck pulls up beside us in the gravel pit. Yeah, apparently someone called 911 on us three times and claimed that we were A) throwing torches at people, B) starting a bonfire and C) making explosions. Obviously none of these claims were the truth and once we explained to the firemen exactly what we were doing, they started laughing, unable to believe they'd been called out for busking arts. They were nice about it, and joked that we could come practice in back of the fire station if we wanted.
Still, this got Lici, Leslie, Rebecca and I a little nervous so on Tuesday we visited city hall and spent the entire afternoon cavortating about downtown investigating fire and busking regulations in the city. Turns out we don't need a busking liscence. There's no such thing in our city. The city's position on busking is that you can do it anywhere you want until someone complains. Yup, you could be poi-ing away on someone's front doorstep or... or their *roof*, and if they didn't call the police that would be okay. So, the four of us are going to get real chummy with the fire station and take fire safety courses this summer. Also, I'm buying insurance the moment I turn eighteen this fall.
... oh wow, I'm going to be eighteen in three months. Ouch.
Anyways, on Monday I had a movie party and on Wendsday I went shopping downtown but none of that is important. The point is I haven't been home.
Today was Canada day and we partied DOWN, yo.
We had a HUGE gypsy picnic (fourteen people o.O;;), then went to Rebecca's house and hung out. We headed downtown at around 7PM and just wandered around the waterfront for a few hours until the fire works (they were awesome, by the way ^____^). We got so many awesome looks and comments due to our colorful dress. Leslie, in full Jack Sparrow regalia, got at least ten hearty "ARRRS!".
Oh! Oh! Oh! And to top a perfect day off, Ash Circle was performing!!!!!!! And Ivan gave us a **TON** of super-useful pointers on getting a fire-act off the ground.
... *blink* Yeah, I had a good day. And I'm having huge deja vu. And part of the deja vu is the typing of deja vu. Ouch, I was writing this exact entry on my lj in a dream last night. o.O;; Except the dream wasn't about the day I had today... my dream was about being back in elementary school, except with all my current friends. And Caily wouldn't get off the swings.
Wow, I'm losing all sense of coherency here. Ouch. I'm sorry. Due to me not making sense anymore, I will cease typing in about a sentence or two. Sorry for clogging up your friends page for no reason.
OMG, I am tired.
