ERandom Book Six Facts and Dead Rumours
Cho Chang will not be a romantic interest of Harry in Book 6, however there will be a "little romance" for Harry says JK.
If Harry and Ginny get together I am going to kill someone. In fact, if Harry ends up having an ACTUAL love interest (Cho Chang doesn't count... she was just qualming at him o.O) I'm going to be really... um... mad...
I have my reasons for this, actually. It's good character development. Seriously. Because of his uber, um, "destiny" crap Harry has sort of become removed from normal teenage life. This became especially apparent in OotP with his, y'know, flipping out at everyone and their third cousin twice removed. He's seen and experienced things that other kids his age would never have dreamed of. One of the most telling evidences of this distance is that within his trio of friends, it's Ron who Hermione seems to be "romantically" entangled with. In most stories, the "lead female" would go with "the lead male", not the "lead male's slightly less heroic sidekick".
Which is brilliant, so if JKR goes and ruins all that by giving Harry a steady girlfriend I will... probably still read but I won't be as happy about it. >___<
Harry, face it- you're a loner. Prophetic bitches like you aren't meant to be happy. ^___^
Off the Beaten HP Horse
My newest music obsession is the song 'MacArthur Park'. This song is so bad it's... good.
'Someone left the cake out in the rain
And I don't think I can take it
Because it took so long to bake it
And I'll never have that recipie again!'
Man, I don't think metaphors that ridiculous even exist anymore. ^_______^
