You know what. I really, really do not like 'Ren and Stimpy'.
It's just not funny. I don't understand why people think it is? Argh... I find that a lot of the older adult cartoons had very slow dialogue, used too much classical music and had humour that was just... too out there to be considered funny. I like cartoons with topical humour and quick, snappy dialogue. Thank god that more shows took the Simpsons and South Park route heading towards becoming shows with stronger character development, smarter pop culture references and masterfully witty quotations.
I mean- okay. I just accidently caught a clip of 'Ren and Stimpy' in which they aired a faux commercial for this stuff called "Dog Water", which was just dog drool funnled into a bottle. This stuff was supposed to help guys score with the ladies, but really... that's just so irrelevant. Honestly! That sort of stuff is just sick and insulting to one's intelligence.
