Listens: Holding Out for a Hero; Bonnie Tyler

I really haven't been writing much. o.O

Not much is going on in life right now. Wow, my life is... boring. o.O About the most exciting thing that's happened in a while would be... the purchase of .hack//OUTBREAK I made the other day.

... Balmung is in my party now. ^ ^

Yeah, so the rest of my Christmas break was just... Ryuuguu meetings. I'm not kidding. I'm living, breathing and dreaming the stupid books. The only problems is that we've all gone and got ourselves obsessed with the LAST books, rather than the first few. It's kind of counter productive, considering we HAVE to write books I thought XIII in order to write book XIV.

Oh well, who said teenage girls were logical. ^ ^;;

ARGH!

It has come to my attention that a movie about Alexander the Great is in the works. Wow, so, like, my first reaction to this was:

"Dude! Alexander the Great! Only, like, my FAVORITE historical figure EVER!"

... until I read the cast list. COLIN FERIL!? *twitches* Angelina Jolie and... Anthony Hopkins? Um, excuse me? Sounds like they just went through a list of "Who's hot right now?" rather then attempting to cast people who would actually suit the roles.

Colin Ferral (hell, I don't know how to spell it): Yeah, I didn't have anything against the guy until I heard that he was going to play Alexander. I'm sorry, but the guy is... slimy looking. Alexander was uber-charismatic. You HAVE to have charisma to lead a toothless army... y'know, especially when you're doing it before your voice has even cracked. o.O

Angelina Jolie: Who, I'm sure, is going to be a love interest of some sort. Darius's wife or daughter or... some exotic lady that steals Alexander's heart! We'll watch them explod into passion onscreen while anyone who knows anything about hisotry will just shake their heads and mutter: "Poor, poor Hephastion..."

Anthony Hopkins: Who, is, mind you, a decent actor but I'm kind of sick watching him play a role in every second movie that comes out. Honestly, the guy is NOT that all purpose. *rolls eyes* So, okay, he's either playing Darius... or Aristotle. I'm voting Aristotle since Darius was a reasonably young guy... but seeing as Alexander is most likely going to be potrayed as "Alexander the Straight", who knows!

... to tell you the truth, I wouldn't mind seeing Sir Ian MacKellan as Aristotle. In fact, if he were cast as the famous philosopher, I would probably be halfways content with the horrid casting. ^ ^

... they'd better at least get Buchepales (I can't spell o.O) right or there's going to be blood to pay...
