EVERYONE gives Locke the Genji Glove/Offering combo to make him less totally useless, right?

Ugh, so I've been doing nothing the last few days except being sick, playing Final Fantasy and doodling badly. :P I picked up FFXII again and although yes, it is very fun and pretty, my opinion on it still hasn't changed very much (Fran, Balthier and Dr. Cid kick ass, who cares about anyone else. Larsa can come too). But it is seriously fun. I'd probably be better at this whole playing thing if FFVI weren't so much better and, like, in my pocket. I'M NOT SURE HOW I FEEL ABOUT THIS NEW TRANSLATION HOWEVER. I mean, it's not like I 1337 OLD SKOOLZ or anything, but like. Is it just me, or is Maria's Aria less hopeless (and subsequently, less awesome):
